Just putting another vote in for Apple Watch and Alexa support.

The app works great on a daily bases. Use it to open, start and lock car daily. Great when I don’t want to give someone my keys and they need to get into t vehicle. Or if I forget to lock my car and can do it from anywhere. My only issue is the app is no longer on my Apple Watch.

One of the best apps ever created I would recommend this to everyone that buys a gmc vehicle

Please add the option to use Siri Shortcuts. I had a Toyota and it magic using them to remote start my car.

I have used this app every day since 2018 and I have loved it, until recently. The app is no longer compatible with the Apple Watch. Being able to use the app on my Apple Watch was convenient, especially in those situations where I cannot use my iPhone. I hope they fix this issue and make the app compatible with the Apple Watch again.

Pretty handy app when the Apple Watch app was available. Watch app was removed in Feb 2025. When will it return? Then MyGMC would be a 5 star app.

The app never works. I have tried numerous times to schedule service for my car without success. To boot after 3 years the app is no longer free

I’m sooo glad I can use my phone to get into my car when I forgot that I locked my keys in my car. I didn’t have to call my husband or my insurance to come and unlock me. So grateful for this.

In the recent updates the ability to test trailer lights was removed. In fact the entire ProGrade trailer section was removed. This was a useful tool.

Very slow to connect. My Tesla is 10x faster. Please improve.

My app does not display current information on one car and on the new car I just bought, it shows me no information or remote start ability.

The app constantly does not work and I have to often uninstall and reinstall in order for the app to work.

Works good but they took away the Apple Watch version. That was super handy. I’d give it 5 stars if they still had it.

Does not work with Apple Watch

It’s a little slow and doesn’t open well sometimes without closing and reopening again. I do really like the convenience of all the features though!

So frustrating, takes no less than 5 tries/5 minutes every time I wish to change my charge level, climate etc. How is this 5 star rated? Will this ever be made better, more like the Tesla experience?

Car play only starts 45% of the time.

I have had 3 radiators replaced since purchase in aug 2023. Replaced 1 leaking. Next time they said radiator cap. Then another radiator that leaked before they ever backed the car out and another replacement. I drove 600 miles on a trip yesterday and after two hundred miles i cold notice the heavy smell again. Afraid to drive on long trips anymore. Other than that we love gmc and chevys. All weever used to buy

Bring back Smart Driver

I was asking because it wasn’t finding my vin even when I’d scan it nothing would work. I’m not sure if it’s cause it’s a 2003 but I’d like to hear a feedback!

I open the app to use the start feature, it is already showing that the vehicle is started and the clock is counting down when I fact it hasn’t started.

The trailer light test and options are no longer on the mobile app. It was very handy to have. I don’t want to have to buy a ford

Second time this month app won’t unlock my door and left me standing in cold. At least 2-3 times a month.

Incredibly disappointed in the decision to get rid of the Apple Watch Support. The app barely functions as it is, and the Watch compatibility was the only thing that is worth while with the app. So now we have a barely functioning app and no Watch compatibility. Stellar Work!

I used the Apple Watch application quite a bit and loved it. Very disappointed in the decision to sunset it.

Did the update and now my app always says my truck is on when I try and use it it says it’s the wrong date or do I want to turn it off any help would be appreciated it worked great until the update please fix this issue thank you

Transmission This is the second time within 6 months that this vehicle has been in for a drip/leak . I just bought it brand new’23 13k miles …DON’T BUY the Acadia!!!

This app and service offered by GM and Onstar has been one of the most effective tools for improving my time management and keeping up with vehicle, from the alerts to just being able to remote start my truck when it’s negative 6 out it’s been consistent and convenient. Also having the ability to set up service for my vehicle at my local dealership and see the maintenance schedule for the vehicle before I get in so I know what it needs! Definitely has its perks, and will continue to utilize all the features available.

Drove my truck to the mountains . stopped at overlook turned off. Tried to leave and truck wouldn’t start. called OnStar to see what the problem was. they gave me a code.1028a said I need to have service now something wrong with transmission and ignition system. this happened on a Sunday called Dealer, and everybody was closed . Having my daughter and her five month old baby with me I needed to get my truck started. Finally I disconnected my batteries. Waited 10 minutes and reconnected. my truck finally started. Drove back to the house. I was renting on vacation and then my phone said I had only 30 pounds of air pressure on passenger side. to me, the computer has gone haywire in this truck and needs to be replaced. Call Dealer the next morning. They said I had to schedule a service in order for them to figure out what’s wrong. In my opinion, the computers are faulty in these 2024 trucks. We’ll see what the dealer says.

This app used to be a favorite but since the last update removed the most useful feature of performing a trailer light test it has became useless. All the useful features have been removed and now it’s just a waste of storage space on my phone. I really appreciated the trailer light test functionality and since it’s gone, I am considering deleting this app.

The option to lock, unlock, and start my GMC Terrain is no longer visible/available in the app. A huge perk of the app was being able to start the vehicle on a cold morning or unlock if away from the key fob.

Why did you remove Apple Watch support??

I’ve had this app for two months now. Two weeks ago they had an issue where you couldn’t log in to the app at all. I have multiple friends with the app who it also happened to on the same day. Since then half the time I open the app to start my truck it says “vehicle started” as soon as I open the app without touching anything. My truck hasn’t started though. If I try to tap to turn off my truck it says “failed”. I have deleted and reinstalled the app multiple times, my phone is up to date, I’ve turned my phone on and off, tried talking to customer support… they don’t do anything and act like they’ve never heard of the problem. I refuse to believe I’m the only person this is happening to. Until you actually help or fix this problem then my rating will stay 1 star.

I got this app and pay for the remote start so I could use my watch and now the watch is not supported.

I use this app on my phone daily. Love warming up the truck a bit this time of year, seeing truck wellness info/ fuel, DEF level, mileage, integration with service scheduling, GM accessories store, etc. Great to find vehicle in a huge parking lot. Areas to add/ improve: More iOS integration (would love to see control center integration to add to Lock Screen), app opens slowly at times, even with strong internet connection, and GM has pulled the WatchOS app recently (which admittedly didn’t work well) — hopefully it returns with more reliability soon; I suspect some of the WatchOS issue is the same issue plaguing the slow phone app activation when opening?

The app used to provide charging info for our Volt but this is now missing. The app still provides fuel status, oil life and tire pressures, and we get “charging complete” notifications which are useful.

Pro grade trailering was removed in an update. This was an important safety feature.

Hyundai has a way better app. It lets you turn on your seat, heaters, seat, coolers, defrosters, etc. Your app just turns the car on.

Hasn’t worked properly once since I got it. Waste of time.

Update: According to dev reply this was an intentional change in feature. PIN is now required. This app was pretty good. Don’t know what happened but now I suddenly cannot unlock my profile after starting up the vehicle. Have to input my PIN instead. Unpaired, paired, forget device, stop, start. Nothing. Please fix!!!
